Royal Harwich YC has a number of Junior members the own the new exciting RS Tera single handed racing dinghy. Seen as a feeder boat into both the RS 200 and RS Aero, the RS Tera gives young children from the age of eight and up to the age of fourteen the opportunity to sail safely, very quickly and competitively.

As part of the Easter Region Clubs , RHYC provides regular racing on Sundays as well as hosting open meetings, Regional Championships and training sessions for sailors of all levels and experience.

Some of our local sailors are members of the Eastern Region Squad which meets every weekend locally, for expert training from RYA approved racing coaches and experienced ex-Tera sailors who are now in larger boats. Some of the squad members have joined the National Squad and we even have some that have competed in World championships in Europe and South Africa over the recent years.

Many RS Tera owners are also RS Feva owners as well allowing for friends to partner up and race two handed dinghies as well allowing children to join the club, have a path to progress and experience the true fun of sailing dinghies.

The club owns two RS Tera boats for those new to the sport, so come on down and try a boat in the friendliest most fun single handed dinghy around!
