Jeff Bacon
Sea School Principal for the RHYC. Power boat Instructor and Dive Boat Instructor.
Tony Brookes
A regular tutor at Thames Valley University he lectures in marine subjects. Has a monthly page for Canal Boats and Inland Waterways. Tony’s mechanical apprenticeship was served in the electrical workshop. Worked in garages as electrician, mechanic, foreman and foreman engineer on a large Thames hire fleet.

RYA instructor for Cruising. Teaches the SuddenlyAlone/ non Skippers Course on his own yacht
Peter Creasey
The Station Officer at Holbrook Coastguard covering the Rivers Orwell and Stour and Harwich Harbour and a qualified teacher. Chartered Electronics Engineer holding RYA instructors certificates for, VHF DSC, ICC / CEVNI, Keelboat, Advanced Powerboat and shorebased Day Skipper / Yachtmaster courses

Sara Hopkinson
Yachtmaster Instructor and Examiner. Lives down the road at Pin Mill. She teaches the Shorebased navigation courses, radio, radar and first aid… and has written a couple of books in her free time! Years of practical experience as a Sea School instructor and Coastguard Rescue Officer.
Ian Jewry
RYA Instructor. Teaches Shore based Navigation Couses. Experienced RHYC member who skippers sailing for the Blind.

RYA Dinghy Instructor. An experienced RHYC member who is very actively involved in the Junior Training Weeks.

Ewen Stamp
Commodore, RYA Powerboat Instructor and Race Trainer. National Race Officer, Judge and Regional Umpire.
Former Chairman and President of the International Optimist Class Association (UK), member of the organizing Committee of the Optimist World Championships and past technical officer and measurer. Past Secretary and Chairman of the National Twelve’s and past member of the RYA Dinghy Committee. Currently Race Officer for Felixstowe International Regatta.
Mike Graham
RYA Yachtmaster Instructor and Chief Instructor in the Sea School teaching practical yachting for the RYA 5 day Courses for Competent Crew Day Skipper Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster brush up on his own yacht or owners yacht. The syllabus for each course can be found on the RYA website www.rya.org.uk and in the RYA booklet “G15”. “
Peter Cockayne
RYA/RHYC Tester for ICC/CEVENI Certificates and RORC IRC Official Measurer. Holder of RYA/MCA Commercially Endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore and Powerboat II certificates. A Marine Consultant, with many years of extensive Commercial and Recreational experience, in a wide variety of motor and sailing vessels.
