Junior Training
We are keen to get children sailing from an early age and are proud to offer a variety of courses for all children in a secure and friendly environment. We are able to train children as young as six years old using the facilities at Alton Water. Depending on previous experience, children can progress to River-based sailing from eight or nine years old, learning to sail Optimists and Toppers. Alton Water Training for 6 - 8 year olds
We have again been allowed to have an allocation of ten places on the Alton Water Courses. The times are 1000 - 1300. The RHYC has a discounted rate of £120 for members. Please complete the application form below and send with payment to Royal Harwich Yacht Club.
Dates for next year are:
Monday, 31st May - Friday, 04th June 2010 inclusive.
Monday, 26th July - Friday 30th July 2010 inclusive.
RHYC Junior Training Weeks ( 9 years and above)
We have now run two very successful Junior Training Weeks in 2009.

Tuesday, 01st June- Saturday, 05th June 2010 inclusive.
